Dr Dre’s Homeless Daughter Speaks Out

The eldest daughter of Dr Dre is begging him to help her after revealing that she is homeless.

Speaking to a British media outlet on Wednesday, 4 August, LaTanya Young – born to the millionaire rapper and Lisa Johnson in 1983 – explained that she was living out of a rental car, and was taking odd jobs as a delivery driver and warehouse assembler to support her four children.

Young said: “I’ve been working in a warehouse and doing Uber Eats and DoorDash … My kids are staying with friends … I’m trying to keep my head above water. I’ve been in debt for a while.”

Although Dr Dre – real name Andre Young – did financially assist her in the past, he stopped paying her in January 2020.

Adding that she hasn’t seen her father in 18 years, Young explained: “His lawyer has said that my dad doesn’t want to help me because I’ve spoken about him in the press … I’m just trying to communicate with him and see if he wants to talk to his grandkids.”

Neither Dr Dre nor his team have commented on Young’s interview yet.
